I wanted to tell you that a good friend of mine, Mathieu Paquette, a man who was my model for me many times as well as his bands, passed away on February 2nd 2011. Matt changed my life and always encouraged me to push further into photography, always telling me that I had an enormous potential and I would become famous one day. It is because of him that I have met some great people and now friends. He was always there to listen to me when I needed to talk, always there to help me out. Matt was the amazing front man of Beheading of a King and Disfigured Elegance. He also played guitar in Blind Witness. Mathieu was an extremely talented musician, a great man who never judged anyone, a brillant and intelligent man, a man who loved his girl so much, a man not loved by everyone because some people are jealous, but he was a man who was respected by all and everyone.
It is an unbelievable loss and he will be forever remembered. Never forget to tell your friends and family that you love them, each day is so important in our lives.
Rest in peace man, I love you.
Mathieu Paquette. 1991-2011. He was 19 years old.
